POTENTIAL CASES OF WRONGFUL CONVICTION
It is not difficult to get railroaded in the United States. We as a people, and the media in particular, have a responsibility to the public to expose wrongful convictions.
Below is a list of potential cases that merit the attention of investigative reporters. We are not limiting this to death penalty cases, although that is certainly a large part of our focus.
Death Penalty Action is unable to join, adopt, raise money for, or otherwise advocate on behalf of any particular case. We have not investigated any of these cases, nor have we examined the merits of the claims made herein, nor do we take responsibility for their veracity. However, if you find a case listing to be compelling, we urge you to contact the people listed as contacts with each of the cases below. The facts must be made known. Please help. Thank you.
